Dr. Marvin Davis

Dr. Marvin Davis is the founder and CEO of MD Consulting, LLC (MDC). As a retired US Army veteran, Marvin proudly spent 20 years serving as both an enlisted Combat Medic and a commissioned Healthcare Comptroller officer. Throughout his service, he witnessed first-hand the direct impact of leadership and discovered that leading others was a privilege.

In November 2007, Marvin began MDC to provide high-quality financial, budgetary and resource management services to organizational leaders within the Government sector and their employees. With a focused mission on being so good that clients couldn’t image doing business without them, MDC has become known for its excellence and reputation for going the extra mile for its clients and employees.

Marvin has a visionary leadership style focused on inspiring people to achieve their highest good. Inspired by his parents, who faithfully showed him the value of prayer, hard work, education, and perseverance, he empowers people with the freedom to innovate excellence while encouraging personal growth and professional development. He holds the belief that “hard work is not something we got to do but something we get to do.”

Passionate about learning and education, Marvin holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master of Business Administration – Management from Webster University and a Master of Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity.

Marvin and his wife, Terri, of over 27 years, have three children along with five grandchildren. They believe in making a difference in their community. They actively take part in assisting their local food pantries and hold leadership positions in various religious organizations.
