Thoughts from Our Team

The company’s independent culture makes you feel empowered. You can ask any question without apprehension. There’s not a lot of micromanaging going on. Management trusts that you’re getting the job done.

When I needed a change, I spoke with Marvin over the phone. He was very passionate about his work and his company. I was excited and joined MDC in 2010. I’m still here because Marvin believes in what he does. He cares about his clients and his employees. He also makes sure that all employees can grow in their career.

What drew me to MDC was the family atmosphere. During the interview process, senior management talked about what the company could provide for me. They already knew I could add value to the organization, so the conversation was more about how working for MDC could help further my career. Joining the company was a fairly easy decision.

Our results are indicative of the company work ethic. Clients give very positive feedback. In turn, I relay the feedback to the team. It’s inspiring.

During the Covid-19 shutdown, we were all teleworking. When management was considering a potential reopening, Dr. Davis hosted a video conference for all employees that was like a fireside chat. Many questions were asked and answered. What came out of that meeting was that each employee received a stipend check to buy cleaning supplies and masks to make transitioning back to the office a little easier. It’s that type of caring from the very top that sets this corporate culture apart.
